The Bounce & Bloom Pickleball Championship 2026 is set to bring together pickleball players and enthusiasts for an exciting day of competition and community celebration in Muar.

Hosted at Bounce & Bloom Muar, the tournament is organized in conjunction with the venue’s First Anniversary, marking an important milestone in the growth of pickleball within the local community. This special event aims to celebrate the journey of Bounce & Bloom while continuing to inspire and develop the next generation of pickleball players in the region.

The championship seeks to promote the sport by providing a competitive yet welcoming platform for players of all backgrounds to showcase their skills, connect with fellow enthusiasts, and elevate the overall standard of play within the local scene.

Important Note:

• Only one registration submission per team is required for each category.
• Teams wishing to compete in both categories must submit separate registrations for each category.

🧮 Tournament Format

The tournament will be conducted in two stages:

Stage 1 – Group Stage

Round Robin format to determine qualification for the knockout rounds. Top 2 advance to Knockout Stage

Stage 2 – Knockout Stage

Round of 16 > Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Finals

Detailed match scoring and format will follow the official tournament rulebook.

Note: Schedule may be adjusted depending on match progression.

📌 Player Eligibility

This tournament will be conducted using a Combined DUPR Rating format.

Player eligibility will be determined based on DUPR ratings recorded as of 1 March 2026. Any rating updates after this date will not affect eligibility for this tournament.

Two categories will be available:

⚡ Combined DUPR 5.899 Category

• The combined DUPR rating of both players must not exceed 5.899.
• The maximum DUPR rating for an individual player is capped at 3.2.
• Players without a DUPR rating (NR) will be automatically assigned a rating of 2.7 for eligibility calculation.

⭐ Combined DUPR 7.299 Category

• The combined DUPR rating of both players must not exceed 7.299.
• The maximum DUPR rating for an individual player is capped at 3.999.
• Players without a DUPR rating (NR) will be automatically assigned a rating of 3.5 for eligibility calculation.

All matches will be submitted to DUPR. All participating players must ensure their DUPR accounts are valid and verifiable at the time of registration.

⚠️ Verification & Compliance Policy

If any discrepancy, doubt, or inconsistency is found in a player’s DUPR account, or if a formal complaint is received from other participants, the organizer reserves the right to take immediate action.

• The player/team may be disqualified from the tournament without refund.
• All match results involving the disqualified player/team may be voided.
• Partner changes may still be allowed, subject to organizer approval.

📘 Rules & Regulations

• All matches will be conducted in accordance with the official tournament rulebook.
• Players are expected to uphold sportsmanship, fair play, and tournament etiquette throughout the competition.
• All participants must use paddles that comply with USAPA/UPA-A specifications. The tournament officials reserve the right to inspect any paddle and may require players to switch paddles if it does not meet the required standards.

🎥 Media & Photography Consent

By participating in the Bounce & Bloom Pickleball Championship 2026, players and spectators consent to photography, videography, and media recording during the event. Such materials may be used for promotional, marketing, and social media purposes by the organizers and partners.

⚠️ Disclaimer

• All registration fees are non-refundable, except in the event of tournament cancellation or postponement.
• In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued to registered teams.
• In the event of postponement, teams may either retain their registration for the rescheduled date or request a refund.
• Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are medically and physically fit to compete.
• The organizer shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the tournament.
• All decisions made by the tournament organizers and referees are final.
