About

  1. This Tournament is open to DUPR Below 3.0 & 3.5 & 4.0 and Open Rating.
  2. From Round Robin to Quaterfinals and semi finals matches use the rally scoring system 15 points. 1 game only (no deuce, sudden death). Final's point system is 15 points best of 3 (no deuce, sudden death)
  3. In case of a tie in rankings (e.g. during Round Robin) the following will apply head-to-head and point difference will be used to break the tie.
  4. As this is a Pickleball tournament, we warmly encourage everyone to network, socialize and build meaningful connections throughout the event.
  5. Players are allowed to change new partner if original partner isn't able to make it, however once the registration deadline meets, no player replacement or substitution is allowed, you will be disqualified if you got caught changing player after registration closes.
  6. Each match begins with a 1-minute warm-up. when a participant is announced during the day for more than 2 times without showing up on the court (or over 3 minutes after name is announced). the referee has the right to disqualify the missing team/player. No protects or appeals will be entertained under any circumstances. All decisions by the organizers are final.
  7. Players are responsible for their own belongings (Organizers are not responsible for any losses). Play at your own risk during the tournament. Organizers are not responsible for any accidents/injuries in the game due to player's health condition. Make sure safety is the first priority, tournament comes second.
  8. Once registration has been made, no refunds are allowed as to cause less confusion to the team, if player are injured or can't make it, we will advised them to swap slots with friends or find replacement.
  9. All players are advised to arrive 30 minutes prior to your match, to avoid any delays and walkovers.
  10. The organizer and referee have the right to disqualify any players during the game if player fail to communicate or being disrespectful.
  11. If there are an insufficient number of players in certain categories, we will merge two categories together. This will be notified once the registration has closed.
  12. If any category does not meet the minimum participant requirements, the organizer reserves the right to cancel/merge that specific category or reduce the cash prizes.
  13. Organizer reserve all the right to use any photos taken during the tournament.
  14. A protest period will be given to all players to check the category if there's any player who violated the DUPR rating, however a RM200 deposit will be charged if the protest succeeded the deposit will be fully refund, whereas if the protest is false/unvalid, the RM200 will be forfeited as administration fee. Upon protesting, protester must show proof of the violated players' DUPR ranking.
  15. Once protest period is over, STRICTLY no protest will be entertained, if player attempt to protest after the protest period of during the event, he/she will face disqualification as it will disrupt the whole event's flow.
  16. Organizer will look at players' DUPR rating at the time of registration, however if there's a suspicious sudden fall in DUPR just to join lower ranked DUPR, the player will be moved or disqualified. All decisions will be made by organizer, no rebut will be allowed.
  17. Free T-shirt are given to the participants, each player will only be eligible for 1 T-shirt

  19. DUPR Reliability Requirement - All participants must submit their DUPR profile (Shows Rating & Reliability) upon registration, if the player's Reliability is below 60% then the organizer team will recheck his/her DUPR rating again when registration deadline closes, if he/she exceeds the initial DUPR rating requirement then he/she will be moved to a higher DUPR category or disqualified.
  20. If the player's DUPR Reliability is beyond 50% upon registering, then he/she will not be moved to other category even if his/her DUPE rating slightly increased when registration deadline ends.
  21. Players must pay attention on the announcement if player is called more than 2 times without showing up, he/she will be disqualified and no protest will be entertained, if he/she is playing in another category, he/she must let the umpire team know in advance, else if the player didn't hear his/her name during another match, he/she will be disqualified after more than 2 calls.
