Tournament Highlights

• 3 matches per team tie
• 21-point Rally Scoring
• Random draw to determine the match sequence
• Group Stage + Knockout Stage
• Referees provided for all matches
• Tournament results will not be submitted to DUPR

Team Match Format

• Each team tie consists of 3 Mixed Doubles matches, with one match in each category.
• The playing sequence of 5.599, 6.299, and 7.099 will be determined by a random draw.
• All matches must follow the sequence determined by the draw.
• A player may only represent one category against the same opposing team in a team tie.
• The first team to win 2 out of 3 matches wins the team tie.

Group Stage / Quarter Final

• Played in a Round Robin format.
• All 3 matches must be played to completion, regardless of the overall team score.
• Each match is played to 21 points using Rally Scoring.
• Sudden Death applies at 20–20.

Semi Final / Final

• The match sequence will follow the random draw.
• Each match is played to 21 points using Rally Scoring (win by 2, cap at 25 points)
• The first team to win 2 matches wins the team tie.
• If a team secures a 2–0 lead, the third match will not be played.
• If the score is 1–1 after two matches, the third match must be played to determine the winner.

DUPR Eligibility

• Category eligibility will be based on each player's DUPR rating on the registration date.
• Players without a DUPR rating (NR) will be assigned a 2.5 DUPR rating for category eligibility calculations.
• The Organizers reserve the right to verify player ratings.
• Tournament results will not be submitted to DUPR.

Important

• Team Captains must submit the line-up at least 10 minutes before the scheduled match time.
• Once submitted, the line-up cannot be changed.
• Teams arriving more than 10 minutes late may be given a walkover.
• Every player is responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate.
• The Tournament Director's decision on all tournament matters is final.

Video Review & Line Calls

In matches without an official video review system, smartphone recordings, livestreams, or any other external video footage will not form part of the officiating process and cannot be used to overturn or challenge a line call.

Any such footage may only be used for informal discussion or reference and has no impact on the official match result.

All line calls and rulings are based on the real-time calls made during the match.
