Tournament Categories

Under-15 Open Gender

a. Group Stage : 8.30 am till 11.30 am

b. Knock out till Final: 12.30pm till 1.30pm

Under-18 Open Gender

a. Group Stage : 12.30pm

b. Knock out till final : 1.30pm till 2.30pm

Special Open Invitation Category (Open Gender)

a. Group Stage : 8.30 am till 11.30 am

b. Knock out till Final : 1.30pm till 4.00pm

*timing schedule might change depends on the conditioning and games time

Notes

1. There will be 3 Categories for this Fun Raising Events

a. Under- 15 Open Gender

b. Under- 18 Open Gender

c. Special Open Invitation Open Gender

2. As this will be an Open Gender’s categories for this pickleball competition, there will be a handicap ruling imposed for the points to add to the fairness of

the games between the pairs. * To refer to the format and playing points

3. There will be no submission to DUPR (Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating) at the end of the competition.

4. Promoting a fun and at the same time slight competitive events for this fundraising pickleball competition, will be prioritizing on the fair play and sportsmanship among the players in the competition.

5. Organizers are not responsible for any injury by the players during the competition, players are advised to be prioritizing their safety first – those that are not healthy, not feeling well before or during the competition are advised to not join or stop playing during the competition.

6. There will be no ruling on any restricted paddles in this competition.

7. Organizers and committee have the rights for the amendment/changes with the schedule and arrangements for this competition.

Format of Play and Points

1. Group Stage, pairs divided into group to play their round robin – top 2 of the groups will advance to the knockout stage

2. A special note to the Open Category bracket whereby there will be 21 teams, with 5 groups - 4 groups with 4 teams and one group with 5 teams,

a. Top of the group and Best second place will be auto-qualified to the Quarter-final

b. The other second place in the group will be playing again to get the remaining 2 spots

3. Group placement will be determined by

a. Total numbers of win

b. Head-to-Head (if there is a tie)

c. Total Points difference (Points scored minus points conceded)

4. Games will be play in Rally Malaysia, 11 points, sudden death (no deuce) during the Group Stage

5. Knock Out stage till Final match and 3rd/4th placing game will be play in 15 points.

6. Handicap on points will be implemented for the play to add in the fun and fairness to the games
