📌 PARAMOUNT CUP 2026

The Paramount Cup 2026 is a premier competitive pickleball tournament organized by PLAYA Racquet Club, bringing together both local and international players for an exciting day of high-level competition and community engagement.


Extending its impact beyond the courts, Paramount Cup 2026 will turn every registration into an opportunity to give back, with RM10 from each registration fee donated to the Shelter Home for Children.


This initiative brings players and Paramount Property together in a shared effort to create positive social impact through sport. Adding to the tournament-weekend experience, a three-day bazaar will offer families, players and visitors a lively space to enjoy food, activities and family-friendly fun.

📏 Rules & Gameplay Highlights

  • Early rounds are self-refereed, with Match Officials available
  • Semifinals & Finals will have appointed referees
  • Players must announce score before serve
  • Line calls are made by players, disputes may be escalated
  • Matches must start within 5 minutes, with a 10-minute grace period before walkover


⚖️ Tie-Breaking Criteria (Group Stage)

If teams have identical records, ranking is determined by:

  1. Point differential
  2. Head-to-head result


⚠️ Important Policies

  • Strict eligibility enforcement (age & DUPR)
  • Disqualification may result in voided matches or revoked titles
  • No refunds once registration is confirmed
  • No partner changes after first match



🎯 Conduct & Fair Play

Players are expected to maintain sportsmanship and professionalism.

Prohibited behaviors include:

  • Abuse, taunting, or misconduct
  • Equipment abuse
  • Deliberate delays

Violations may result in warnings, penalties, or disqualification.

Players found manipulating their ratings or scores through social games may have their participation rejected without a refund. The organiser also reserves the right to move players to a more appropriate division if their skill level exceeds the registered category.


The tournament will follow the official USA Pickleball Rulebook as a guideline. However, any disputes or special situations will be resolved at the sole discretion of the Tournament Committee.


First come first serve rules:

If registration is completed as a team, your spot is secured.

Partial registration are accepted under the condition where the player must find a partner 1-month before registration closes. If the player is unable to find a partner, we will automatically move you to the waitlist.

If a partial registered player are not able to find a partner before registration closes, you are allowed to change categories or replace your spot with another player; no refunds are allowed.


Replacement players are allowed.

If changes are made before seeding is completed, there will be no limitations on DUPR rating for replacement players.

If changes are made after seeding is completed, the replacement player must have the same or lower DUPR rating

10-minute walkover rules are strictly executed. 

Once a team is defaulted after 10 minutes, no replacements are allowed. 

If a player misses the first match but is available later, they can still participate. 


Walkovers are not submitted into DUPR

If we catch you manipulating your scores through any social games, we reserve the right to reject your participation without a refund.

All match results will be submitted and updated on DUPR, APP Asia & Global Pickleball Alliance Ranking.


The organizer reserves the right to reassign players to a more appropriate category if their skill level exceeds the registered division.

The Tournament Committee may close registration early if all available slots are filled — even if this occurs before the stated registration deadline.

In the event of unexpected situations, the organizers reserve the right to adjust, delay, or cancel the tournament. If the event is canceled, all registration fees will be refunded accordingly.
