🏆 About the Tournament

The Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 is a multi-state pickleball tournament series created to bring together competitive players from across Malaysia while supporting a meaningful charitable cause.

This tournament series will feature multiple state tours, where teams compete for the opportunity to qualify for the Grand Final later in the year.

The series offers a total prize pool of RM30,000 for this event, with the top-performing teams from selected categories advancing to the next stage of the championship journey.

The Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 is designed to deliver:

• a professionally organized tournament experience
• a competitive pathway towards the Grand Final
• strong community engagement through charity-focused sports events
• an exciting platform for players across different states to compete

🎯 Qualification to Grand Final

At each state tour:

Top 4 teams from Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles will qualify for the Grand Final.

Please note that Women’s Doubles will be contested as a standalone event at each tour and will not have a Grand Final at the end of the year.

Qualified teams from Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles will advance to compete at the Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 Grand Final later in the year.

Qualified teams from Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles will be representing the state at Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 Grand Final.

Qualified player or team that has already qualified from one state tour shall not be permitted to rejoin, compete, or represent any other state in the Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 series. Any violation of this rule may result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of qualification status.

Rules & Regulations

Tournament Category DUPR Eligibility :

1.    DUPR eligibility is based on the player’s DUPR rating at the time of registration. Any changes to DUPR after registration will not affect category eligibility.

2.    Players without a DUPR rating (NR players) are encouraged to obtain a DUPR rating prior to registration.

3.    All match results will be recorded and submitted DUPR via Sport Sync.

Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026

1. This tournament is open to the following combined categories only:

• Men’s Doubles Combined < 6.5 (Capped Dupr 3.499)
• Mixed Doubles Combined < 6.2 (Capped Dupr 3.299)
• Women’s Doubles Combined < 6.1 (Capped Dupr 3.199)

1. Tournament format and scoring will be as follows:

• Round Robin / Group Stage: Rally scoring to 15 points, 1 game only
• Round of 16: Rally scoring to 15 points, 1 game only
• Quarter Finals: Rally scoring to 15 points, 1 game only
• Semi Finals: Rally scoring to 21 points, 1 game only
• 3rd / 4th Placing: Rally scoring to 15 points, Best of 3 games
• Final: Rally scoring to 15 points, Best of 3 games

1. All 1-game matches will be played with no deuce, sudden death. Once the match point is reached, the match ends.
2. In the event of a tie in group-stage rankings, the following tie-breakers will apply in order:

• Head-to-head result
• Point difference
• Any further decision by the Tournament Director, if required

1. As this is a pickleball tournament, all participants are encouraged to compete in the right spirit, while also networking, socializing, and building meaningful connections throughout the event.
2. Players are allowed to replace their partner only before the registration deadline. Once registration is closed, no player replacement or substitution will be allowed. Any team found making unauthorized player changes after registration closes may be disqualified.
3. Each match will begin with a 1-minute warm-up.
4. Players must report promptly when their match is called. If a player or team is called more than 2 times and still fails to appear on court, or arrives more than 3 minutes after their match is announced, the referee or tournament organizer has the right to disqualify that player or team.
5. No protests or appeals will be entertained regarding no-shows, late arrivals, or walkovers. All decisions by the organizers and referees are final.
6. All players are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match to avoid delays, missed announcements, or walkovers.
7. If a player is playing in more than one category, it is the player’s responsibility to inform the umpire or marshalling team in advance. Failure to do so may result in disqualification if the player misses a called match.
8. Players are responsible for their own belongings at all times. The organizers will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
9. All players participate at their own risk. The organizers, officials, and venue will not be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, or health-related incidents occurring before, during, or after the tournament.
10. Safety must always come first. Players are expected to act responsibly and avoid conduct that may endanger themselves or others.
11. Once registration has been submitted and accepted, no refunds will be allowed. If a player is unable to attend, the team may be advised to find a replacement before the registration deadline, subject to organizer approval.
12. The organizer and referees reserve the right to disqualify any player or team for unsportsmanlike behavior, disrespectful conduct, poor communication, or any action that disrupts the tournament.
13. If any category does not meet the minimum required number of participants, the organizer reserves the right to:

• merge categories
• cancel that category
• revise or reduce the prize pool
• adjust the format as necessary

Tournament Terms & Rules :

1. The organizer reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken during the tournament for future promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes.
2. The organizer reserves the right to conduct player screening to ensure fair play and to filter out players deemed overqualified (Sand Bag /Buaya/DUPR Manipulation).
3. Using 2nd / fake accounts is strictly prohibited. If discovered, you will be disqualified or ban from the tournament.
4. A protest window will be provided for players to raise category eligibility concerns before the event begins. Any protest regarding a player’s combined rating must be submitted together with evidence.
5. If the protest is found to be invalid, false, or unsupported, protest will be invalid.
6. Any protest must be supported by valid evidence. It is the responsibility of the protesting player/team to provide proof of the alleged rating or eligibility violation.
7. Once the official protest period is closed, strictly no further protests will be entertained. Any attempt to raise disputes after the protest period, or during the event in a way that disrupts tournament flow, may result in disqualification.
8. The organizer reserves the right to review player ratings and eligibility at the time of registration and at any point before the event. If there is reason to believe a player has manipulated or misrepresented their rating in order to enter a lower category, the organizer may move or disqualify the player/team without appeal.
9. Protest Period : 21/9/26 - 24/9/26 (Participants will be showed at 21st September)

TOURNAMENT INTEGRITY RULES & REGULATIONS :

1. DUPR INTEGRITY, MANIPULATION & VERIFICATION

1.1 Prohibition of DUPR Manipulation

Any intentional act intended to artificially lower, maintain, increase or otherwise manipulate a player's DUPR rating is strictly prohibited.

This may include, but is not limited to:

• Deliberately losing matches to reduce a rating.
• Arranging or recording non-genuine matches.
• Manipulating match scores or results.
• Removing, deleting or altering match records.
• Using another DUPR account or multiple accounts.
• Coordinating with another player to influence rating movement.
• Any other activity deemed by the Organiser to be an attempt to circumvent category eligibility requirements.

1.2 Deletion or Removal of Game Records

Any deletion, cancellation, modification or removal of legitimate match records that affects a player's DUPR rating may be considered DUPR manipulation.

This applies whether the action is performed by the player personally or through another person or account.

1.3 Verification of DUPR Rating Movement

Significant or unusual changes in a player's DUPR rating may be reviewed by the Organiser.

Players may be required to provide supporting evidence showing that the rating movement resulted from genuine and verifiable match results.

1.4 Unverifiable Games

Where relevant games or rating changes cannot be reasonably verified, the Organiser may treat the rating movement as suspicious pending further investigation.

1.5 Burden of Proof

Where a player's rating or eligibility is disputed, the player may be required to provide sufficient and verifiable evidence to support the legitimacy of the rating.

Failure to provide satisfactory supporting evidence may result in the rating being rejected for tournament eligibility purposes.

1.6 Right to Investigate

The Organiser reserves the right to investigate suspected rating manipulation at any stage.

The investigation may include reviewing:

• DUPR profiles.
• Rating history.
• Match history.
• Deleted or modified records.
• Tournament records.
• Opponent records.
• Screenshots or supporting documentation.
• Any other relevant information.

1.7 Consequences of Manipulation

If DUPR manipulation is confirmed or reasonably determined, the Organiser may, at its sole discretion:

• Disqualify the player or team.
• Remove the player from the tournament draw.
• Reclassify the player into an appropriate category.
• Revoke or invalidate tournament results.
• Forfeit prizes or qualification positions.
• Prohibit the player from participating in future ICMC events.
• Report the matter to DUPR or other relevant governing bodies.
• Take any additional disciplinary action considered appropriate.

1.8 Final Eligibility Decision

All eligibility and DUPR-related decisions made by the Tournament Organiser shall be final once the official draw has been finalised, except where the Organiser determines that exceptional circumstances justify further review.

2. DRAW DISPUTE & FINALISATION

2.1 Draw Dispute Period

Once the tournament draw or player list is officially published, a four (4) calendar-day dispute period will begin.

Players are encouraged to review the published draw carefully during this period.

2.2 Matters That May Be Disputed

A dispute may be submitted regarding:

• Player eligibility.
• DUPR rating.
• Category placement.
• Suspected rating manipulation.
• Incorrect player information.
• Seeding or draw placement where applicable.

2.3 Submission of Disputes

All disputes must be submitted directly to the Organiser within the official dispute period.

Late submissions may not be considered.

2.4 Evidence Requirement

All disputes must be supported by clear and verifiable evidence.

Examples may include:

• DUPR profile screenshots.
• Rating history.
• Match records.
• Tournament results.
• Official registration information.
• Other supporting documentation.

Unsupported accusations or claims may be rejected without further consideration.

2.5 DUPR Manipulation Disputes

Where DUPR manipulation is alleged, the complainant should provide evidence of suspicious activity such as:

• Deleted matches.
• Unverifiable games.
• Unusual rating movement.
• Multiple accounts.
• Inconsistent match records.
• Other relevant irregularities.

2.6 Closure of Dispute Period

Once the official dispute period has ended, the draw will be considered final.

No further eligibility protests will normally be entertained unless exceptional circumstances are identified by the Organiser.

2.7 No Event-Day Disruption

Players must not attempt to delay, interrupt or disrupt tournament operations through eligibility disputes that should have been raised during the official dispute period.

Any serious eligibility matter discovered during the event should be reported directly to the Tournament Director.

2.8 Final Authority

The Tournament Director and Organising Committee reserve the sole discretion to review, accept, reject or dismiss any dispute.

Their decision shall be final and binding.

3. PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY & DISQUALIFICATION

3.1 Player Responsibility

Every participant is responsible for verifying their own eligibility before registering.

Registration does not automatically confirm eligibility.

Players must ensure that:

• Their DUPR profile is accurate.
• Their rating falls within the category requirements.
• Their partner is eligible.
• All registration information is truthful and complete.
• They comply with all tournament rules.

3.2 Organiser Disclaimer

The Organiser is not responsible for guaranteeing a player's eligibility before registration.

Acceptance of payment or registration does not prevent the Organiser from subsequently reviewing or rejecting a player's eligibility.

3.3 Player Eligibility Complaints

If another participant reports a player's suspected ineligibility and provides credible supporting evidence, the Organiser reserves the right to investigate.

3.4 Illegal or Ineligible Registration

If a player is found to have registered for a category for which they are not eligible, the Organiser may:

• Move the player or team to an appropriate category where possible.
• Remove the player or team from the draw.
• Disqualify the player or team.
• Cancel results already obtained.
• Forfeit qualification or prize entitlement.

3.5 False or Misleading Information

Providing false, incomplete or misleading information during registration may result in immediate disqualification.

3.6 No Refund Following Disqualification

Players disqualified because of ineligibility, rating manipulation, false information or breach of tournament regulations will not be entitled to a refund of their registration fee.

3.7 Organiser Authority

The Tournament Director and Organising Committee shall have final authority over matters involving:

• Eligibility.
• DUPR ratings.
• Player conduct.
• Draw disputes.
• Disqualification.
• Tournament integrity.

FAIR PLAY PRINCIPLE

ICMC is built around competitive sport, community and integrity.

Players are expected to compete fairly, respect their opponents and uphold the spirit of the tournament at all times.
