Get ready for a competitive day of rally-scoring pickleball at the DDPSC FRAMILY RALLY SERIES.
This tournament is designed for players without recent qualifying podium finishes in the applicable category.

1. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
Players must meet both the applicable Non-Podium Eligibility Restrictions and DUPR requirements.
WOMEN’S DOUBLES
- Combined DUPR rating must be <5.699.
- Individual DUPR rating must be <2.999.
- Players without an established DUPR rating (NR) are permitted.
- For eligibility purposes, an NR player will be treated as having a 2.75 rating.
- Any DUPR rating changes after registration will not affect eligibility.
MIXED DOUBLES
- Combined DUPR rating must be <5.999.
- Individual DUPR rating must be <3.299
- Players without an established DUPR rating (NR) are permitted.
- For eligibility purposes, an NR player will be treated as having a 2.95 rating.
- Any DUPR rating changes after registration will not affect eligibility.
MEN’S DOUBLES
- Combined DUPR rating must be <5.999
- Individual DUPR rating must be <3.299
- Players without an established DUPR rating (NR) are permitted.
- For eligibility purposes, an NR player will be treated as having a 2.95 rating.
- Any DUPR rating changes after registration will not affect eligibility.
Players with evidence of suspicious DUPR manipulation or rating inflation within the past 3 months may be deemed ineligible by the Organising Committee.

2. NON-PODIUM ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS
The Non-Podium requirement is the primary eligibility condition for this tournament.
Players with a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place podium finish in the applicable category from 16 March 2026 up to the date of registration are not eligible, unless the result qualifies under at least one of the exemptions below.
Podium results obtained after the player has completed registration will not affect the player’s eligibility for this tournament.
WOMEN’S DOUBLES
Any player who has achieved a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place podium finish in Women’s Doubles or Open Doubles on SportsSync or Baseline from 16 March 2026 up to the date of registration is not eligible, unless the result qualifies under at least one of the following exemptions:
Timeframe Exemption
The podium finish occurred before 16 March 2026.
Draw Size Exemption
The tournament bracket consisted of fewer than 24 teams.
Prize Money Exemption
The cash prize awarded to the Champion of that specific bracket was less than RM1,000.
Only Women’s Doubles and Open Doubles podium results are considered for this category.
Podium finishes in Mixed Doubles, Men’s Doubles or Singles do not affect Women’s Doubles eligibility.
MIXED DOUBLES
Any player who has achieved a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place podium finish in Mixed Doubles or Open Doubles on SportsSync or Baseline from 16 March 2026 up to the date of registration is not eligible, unless the result qualifies under at least one of the following exemptions:

3. PLAYER DECLARATION & ORGANISER AUDIT
By registering, each player confirms that:
- They meet the applicable Non-Podium requirements.
- They meet the applicable DUPR requirements.
- They have disclosed any relevant podium results from 16 March 2026 up to the date of registration.
- The information provided during registration is accurate.
The Organising Committee may review player profiles and historical tournament records on SportsSync and Baseline before the official draw.
Players may be asked to provide supporting evidence regarding their eligibility.
Teams or players found to have provided false information, concealed a restricted podium result, used multiple DUPR accounts or otherwise breached the eligibility requirements may be disqualified immediately without a refund.

4. TOURNAMENT FORMAT
The same tournament format applies to all three categories.
GROUP STAGE
Maximum 24 teams per category:
- 4 groups of 6 teams: Groups A–D.
- Each team plays 5 round-robin matches.
- Top 3 teams from each group advance.
- 12 teams advance to the Knockout Stage.
GROUP RANKING
Teams will be ranked in the following order:
- Total matches won.
- Head-to-head result.
- Score difference.
KNOCKOUT STAGE
Preliminary Knockout Round
- The 4 group winners receive a BYE into the Quarterfinals.
- The 8 teams finishing 2nd and 3rd compete in the Preliminary Knockout Round.
- Teams are seeded based on their group-stage performance.
- Teams from the same group will not face each other in this round.
Quarterfinals
The 4 group winners join the 4 Preliminary Knockout winners.
The tournament then proceeds:
Quarterfinals → Semifinals → 3rd Place Match → Final

5. SCORING FORMAT
Group Stage
- First to 15 rally points.
- At 14–14: Sudden Death.
- No side switch.
Quarterfinals & Semifinals
- First to 15 rally points.
- At 14–14: Serve-to-win.
- Switch sides at 8 points.
3rd Place Match & Final
- First to 21 rally points.
- At 20–20: Serve-to-win.
- Switch sides at 11 points.
This is a DUPR-submitted tournament. Eligible match results from the tournament will be submitted to DUPR.

6. MATCH PLAY & SELF-OFFICIATING
All matches are fully self-officiated. No referees or umpires will be assigned.
Players are responsible for:
- Making their own line calls.
- Calling their own faults.
- Keeping track of the score.
- Serving in the correct order.
- Resolving minor disputes respectfully.
The Host is not an umpire or referee and will not routinely officiate matches.
However, the Host may intervene when necessary in cases involving disputes, repeated rule violations or unsportsmanlike conduct.
Any ruling made by the Host in such circumstances will be final and binding.

7. TIMEOUT & INJURY RULES
Timeouts
- No timeouts during the Group Stage, Quarterfinals or Semifinals.
- One 1-minute timeout per team is allowed during the 3rd Place Match and Final.
Injury Time
- Maximum 10 minutes of injury time per incident.
- Players must stop playing immediately if they feel unwell or injured.

8. CODE OF CONDUCT
All participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect towards opponents, partners, the Host, organisers and other participants.
The Host reserves the right to remove or ban any participant for:
- Rule violations.
- Unsportsmanlike conduct.
- Disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour.
- Failure to comply with event rules or Host instructions.

10. CASH PRIZE STRUCTURE
The cash prize structure applies separately to each category.
- 24 teams: Full cash prizes as stated above are guaranteed.
- 8–23 teams: Cash prizes will be prorated based on the final number of registered and fully paid teams.
- Fewer than 8 teams: The Organiser reserves the right to postpone or cancel that category.
- If a category is cancelled due to insufficient participation, the RM200 tournament entry fee will be fully refunded.
- Any changes to the prize structure or event status will be communicated to registered participants.

11. REGISTRATION, CANCELLATION & REFUND TERMS
Registration Confirmation
Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment through SportsSync and successful eligibility verification.
Payment does not override the eligibility requirements.
For the purpose of Non-Podium eligibility, the relevant podium record is assessed up to the date of registration. Podium results obtained after registration will not affect eligibility for this tournament.
Tournament Entry Fee
The tournament entry fee is RM200 per team.
Any additional SportsSync Getaway Charge, platform fee, service fee, transaction fee or other third-party charge is separate from the RM200 tournament entry fee and is not part of the Organiser’s tournament revenue.
Refund Amount
Where a refund is applicable, the Organiser will refund only the RM200 tournament entry fee.
Any SportsSync Getaway Charge, platform fee, service fee, transaction fee or other third-party charge collected during registration is non-refundable by the Organiser.
Player Cancellation
Registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been made, except where specifically stated in these Terms & Conditions.
Cancellation Within 24 Hours
No refunds or cancellations are allowed within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.
Organiser Cancellation
If the Organiser cancels the tournament, the RM200 tournament entry fee will be fully refunded.
Third-party charges are excluded from the refund.
Postponement
If the tournament is postponed, participants may retain their slot or request a refund of the RM200 tournament entry fee.
Third-party charges are non-refundable by the Organiser.
Insufficient Participation
If a category is cancelled due to insufficient participation, the RM200 tournament entry fee will be fully refunded.
Third-party charges are excluded from the refund.
Disqualification
Teams or players disqualified due to eligibility violations, false declarations, concealed podium results, account integrity issues or other rule breaches are not entitled to a refund.
Third-Party Charges
The Organiser is not responsible for refunding any charges imposed directly by SportsSync or other third-party service providers.

12. LIABILITY & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY
- All participants join and play at their own risk.
- Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical condition before and during the event.
- The Organiser and venue are not responsible for injuries, accidents, losses or damages occurring before, during or after the event.
- The Organiser will not be liable for lost or damaged personal belongings.
- Participants must stop playing immediately if they feel unwell or injured and seek appropriate assistance where necessary.

13. MEDIA CONSENT
By registering for and participating in this event, participants consent to the use of photographs and videos taken during the event by DDPSC for media, promotional and marketing purposes.

14. DISQUALIFICATION APPEAL PROCESS
If a player or team is disqualified due to an eligibility or Non-Podium restriction issue, they may lodge a formal appeal.
Appeal Timeline
Appeals must be submitted in writing via the official email or WhatsApp within 48 hours of receiving the disqualification notice.
Evidence Required
The player must provide verifiable evidence showing that the relevant podium finish qualifies under one of the stated exemptions.
Examples include:
- Historical tournament bracket showing fewer than 24 teams; or
- Official tournament documentation confirming that the Champion’s cash prize was less than RM1,000.
Appeal Decision
The Organising Committee will review the evidence and issue a decision within 24 hours.
The Committee’s decision is final and binding.
