A pickleball competition at the state-of-the-art 9Pickle in Setia Alam this Friday night! This tournament brings together players from men’s and mixed doubles. Get ready to battle it out under the lights in our very own Championship Court! The tournament will start on 8 August, 2025 at 10:00pm with 12 courts being used. Experience the thrill of competition in a friendly, vibrant atmosphere with top-notch courts and passionate players. With exciting matches, great prizes, and an awesome community atmosphere, this is the perfect event for pickleball enthusiasts. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE: Aug 8 2025 (Friday) 10:00pm Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles (minimum combined DUPR 6.5) Please be at the venue at 9pm for registration. Game will start at 10pm sharp. SCORING FORMAT ALL EVENTS: - 20 teams each category divided into 4 groups of 5 teams randomly. We will be using 12 courts. GROUP STAGE: - Round-robin, rally to 15 points per match, sudden death, no serve to win. Switch court sides at 8 points. - Top 2 teams from each pool will advance to Quarterfinals. Number of Sets: 1 Set QUARTERFINALS: - Rally to 15 points per match, sudden death, no serve to win. Switch court sides at 8 points. Number of Sets: 1 Set SEMIFINALS and 3rd place match: - Rally to 21 points per match, sudden death, no serve to win. - Switch court sides at 11 points. - Championship court Number of Sets: 1 Set FINALS • Rally to 11 points per match, sudden death, no serve to win. Switch court for each set. Last set - switch courts at 6 points. - Championship court Number of Sets: Best of 3 sets Time-Out: - Group stage: No time out - Quarterfinal, Semifinal and 3rd place: 1 time out per team (1 minute each time) - Final: 2 time out per team in between 3 sets (1 minute each time) DUPR: - All matches will not be recorded in the DUPR system
