ATOMIC CUP – TEAM EVENT

Team Format

• 4 players per team
• 2 Male + 2 Female
• Combined Team DUPR ≤ 11.000
• Player’s individual Cap 3.099
• Maximum 16 Teams
• 4 Groups × 4 Teams

🏆 GROUP STAGE

Each team plays 3 matches:

1. 👨 Men’s Doubles
2. 👩 Women’s Doubles
3. 👫 Mixed Doubles

All 3 games must be played, regardless of the result.

Scoring:

• First to 15 points
• Sudden Death at 14–14
• No deuce / no win-by-2

🔥 KNOCKOUT STAGE

Quarter-Finals → Semi-Finals → Final

Each team match consists of up to 4 games:

1. 👨 Men’s Doubles
2. 👩 Women’s Doubles
3. 👫 Mixed Doubles #1
4. 👫 Mixed Doubles #2

Mixed Doubles Rule:

No player may play in both Mixed Doubles matches.

If a team wins 3–0, the team match ends immediately.

Scoring: First to 15 points, sudden death at 15–15.

⚡ DREAM BREAKER

If the knockout match is tied 2–2:

• First to 21 points
• Each player plays 5 points
• All 4 players must participate
• No deuce / no win-by-2
• Team reaching 21 points first wins

TOURNAMENT RULES & TERMS

1. TEAM COMPOSITION & ELIGIBILITY

1. Each team must consist of 4 players:

• 2 Male Players
• 2 Female Players

1. The combined DUPR rating of all 4 players must be 11.000 or below.
2. The tournament is limited to a maximum of 16 teams.
3. Each player may only register and compete for one team in this tournament.
4. Players must register using their correct and genuine DUPR account. Duplicate, false, or misleading DUPR accounts are strictly prohibited.
5. The organiser reserves the right to review a player’s DUPR history and playing records to determine eligibility.
6. For eligibility purposes, the organiser may review the player’s highest DUPR rating recorded within the 3 months prior to the tournament date.

2. DUPR MANIPULATION & ELIGIBILITY

1. Any suspected manipulation, intentional under-rating, duplicate account, or other attempt to gain an unfair advantage may be reviewed by the organiser.
2. If DUPR manipulation or an eligibility violation is confirmed, the organiser reserves the right to:

• Remove the player or team from the tournament;
• Disqualify the team;
• Reject or cancel the player’s registration;
• Require a replacement player, subject to organiser approval.

1. No refund will be provided in cases where a player or team is disqualified due to confirmed DUPR manipulation, false information, or violation of tournament eligibility rules.
2. The organiser’s decision regarding player eligibility and DUPR-related matters shall be final.

3. GROUP STAGE

1. A maximum of 16 teams will be divided into 4 groups of 4 teams.
2. Each team will play against every other team in their respective group.
3. Each team match consists of:

• 1 Men’s Doubles
• 1 Women’s Doubles
• 1 Mixed Doubles

1. All 3 games must be played, regardless of the result.
2. Each game is played to 15 points.
3. At 15–15, sudden death applies. There is no deuce and no win-by-2.

4. KNOCKOUT STAGE

The knockout stage consists of:

Quarter-Finals → Semi-Finals → Final

Each team match consists of up to 4 games:

1. Men’s Doubles
2. Women’s Doubles
3. Mixed Doubles #1
4. Mixed Doubles #2
5. Both Mixed Doubles matches must use different players.
6. No player may play in both Mixed Doubles matches.
7. Each game is played to 15 points.
8. At 15–15, sudden death applies. There is no deuce and no win-by-2.
9. If a team wins 3–0, the team match is immediately concluded and the remaining game will not be played.
10. If the score reaches 2–2, a Dream Breaker will be played to determine the winner.

5. DREAM BREAKER

1. The Dream Breaker applies only when a knockout match is tied 2–2.
2. The Dream Breaker is played to 21 points.
3. All 4 players must participate.
4. Each player will play 5 points.
5. Players will rotate according to the designated playing order.
6. The team reaching 21 points first wins the Dream Breaker.
7. There is no deuce and no win-by-2.

6. PLAYER REPLACEMENT

1. Any replacement player must be approved by the organiser before participating.
2. The replacement player must meet all tournament eligibility requirements, including the team DUPR limit.
3. The organiser reserves the right to reject any replacement player who does not meet the tournament requirements.

7. NO-SHOW / FORFEIT

1. Teams must be ready and present according to the published match schedule.
2. A team that fails to appear for its scheduled match may be subject to a forfeit.
3. The organiser reserves the right to determine the appropriate result for any no-show or incomplete team.
4. No refund will be provided for teams or players who fail to participate after registration.

8. PROTEST & ELIGIBILITY REPORTS

1. Any protest regarding player eligibility, DUPR rating, or tournament participation must be submitted to the organiser no later than 11:59 PM on the day before the tournament.
2. Same-day reports or complaints will normally not be entertained, except for matters involving:

• Duplicate player accounts;
• Clear eligibility violations discovered during the tournament;
• Other serious matters that may affect the fairness or integrity of the competition.

1. The organiser may review relevant DUPR records from the 3 months prior to the tournament date when investigating an eligibility complaint.
2. Once a decision has been made by the organiser, the decision shall be considered final.

9. MATCH CONDUCT

1. All players are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner.
2. Verbal abuse, intimidation, deliberate misconduct, cheating, or behaviour that disrupts the tournament may result in warnings, loss of points, forfeiture, or disqualification.
3. Players are responsible for making their own line calls and following the applicable pickleball rules.
4. Spectators and non-playing persons must not interfere with players, line calls, referee decisions, or ongoing matches.

10. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE

1. Players and teams are responsible for checking the official tournament schedule and reporting to their assigned court on time.
2. The organiser may adjust match times, court assignments, or match order when necessary to ensure the tournament can proceed smoothly.
3. Players must follow instructions from the tournament organiser, Tournament Director, referees, and court officials.

11. PRIZE & PARTICIPATION

1. The advertised prize structure is based on the expected number of participating teams.
2. If the maximum or expected number of teams is not reached, the organiser reserves the right to adjust the prize structure accordingly.
3. Any adjustment to the prize structure will be communicated to the participating teams before the tournament begins.
4. The organiser’s decision regarding the final prize structure shall be final.

12. TOURNAMENT CHANGES

The organiser reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the tournament format, schedule, court allocation, match procedures, or prize structure when necessary due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

• Number of registered teams
• Weather conditions
• Court availability
• Technical issues
• Delays
• Safety concerns
• Unforeseen circumstances

Any such changes will be communicated to participating teams as soon as reasonably possible.

13. FINAL AUTHORITY

The organiser and Tournament Director reserve the right to make the final decision on any matter relating to:

• Player eligibility
• DUPR rating
• Player replacement
• Match results
• Protests
• Disqualification
• Tournament procedures
• Prize structure
• Interpretation of these rules

The decision of the organiser/Tournament Director shall be final.

By registering for the tournament, all players and teams acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to abide by these tournament rules and terms.
