Governing Rules

β€’ The tournament shall be governed by the USA Pickleball Official Rulebook.

β€’ Any disputes, interpretations, or matters not expressly covered shall be decided by the Tournament Committee, whose decision is final and binding.

Participation Rules

β€’ Players may compete in more than one category, subject to eligibility.

β€’ The following categories are played at the same time, so players cannot join both:

β€“ Intermediate Mixed Doubles and Men's Singles DUPR ≀4.500

β€“ Novice Mixed Doubles and Advanced Mixed Doubles

β€“ Novice Men's Doubles and Advanced Men's Doubles

β€’ The Organiser will not be responsible for match clashes arising from multi-category participation.

β€’ In the event of overlapping match times, players must choose one match only.

β€’ The other match will be recorded as a walkover.

Eligibility & DUPR Verification

β€’ DUPR ratings will be verified prior to the tournament.

β€’ Doubles eligibility is based on both the combined DUPR rating of the team and each player's individual DUPR rating (Novice: ≀2.999, Intermediate: ≀3.499, Advanced: ≀4.499 per player). Singles eligibility is based on the player's individual DUPR rating.

β€’ The DUPR rating at the time of registration shall be used for eligibility verification.

β€’ Not Rated (NR) players will be considered as 2.999.

β€’ No podium restriction: past podium finishers from any tournament may join any category they are eligible for based on DUPR.

β€’ Subsequent changes to a player's DUPR rating will not be considered.

β€’ Players found exceeding category limits may be disqualified without refund.

β€’ All eligible match results will be submitted to DUPR.

Player List & DUPR Protests

β€’ The official player list will be published 1 week before the tournament to allow players to raise concerns and assist the organiser in ensuring a fair and competitive tournament.

β€’ Only participants registered in the respective category may submit a protest regarding another player's DUPR eligibility.

β€’ All protests must include the reporter's name and relevant supporting details for verification by the organisers.

β€’ The identity of the reporter will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to the reported player.

β€’ Players are encouraged to report any suspicious DUPR activity, rating irregularities, or potential manipulation to the organisers.

β€’ The organiser's decision regarding DUPR eligibility, protests, and tournament integrity shall be final.

Dispute Deadline

β€’ All disputes, protests, and complaints regarding DUPR eligibility must be submitted no later than 14 Jan 2027.

β€’ After 14 Jan 2027, no further complaints, objections, or eligibility disputes will be entertained, except in exceptional circumstances at the organiser's discretion.

β€’ Once the dispute period closes, the player eligibility and tournament draw shall be considered final.

β€’ The dispute deadline does not prevent the organiser from taking action if new evidence of DUPR manipulation, fraud, or eligibility violations is discovered after the deadline.
