Governing Rules
• The tournament shall be governed by the USA Pickleball Official Rulebook.
• Any disputes, interpretations, or matters not expressly covered shall be decided by the Tournament Committee, whose decision is final and binding.
Participation Rules
• Players may compete in more than one category, subject to eligibility.
• The following categories are played at the same time, so players cannot join both:
– Intermediate Mixed Doubles and Men's Singles DUPR ≤4.500
– Novice Mixed Doubles and Advanced Mixed Doubles
– Novice Men's Doubles and Advanced Men's Doubles
• The Organiser will not be responsible for match clashes arising from multi-category participation.
• In the event of overlapping match times, players must choose one match only.
• The other match will be recorded as a walkover.
Eligibility & DUPR Verification
• DUPR ratings will be verified prior to the tournament.
• Doubles eligibility is based on both the combined DUPR rating of the team and each player's individual DUPR rating (Novice: ≤2.999, Intermediate: ≤3.499, Advanced: ≤4.499 per player). Singles eligibility is based on the player's individual DUPR rating.
• The DUPR rating at the time of registration shall be used for eligibility verification.
• Not Rated (NR) players will be considered as 2.999.
• No podium restriction: past podium finishers from any tournament may join any category they are eligible for based on DUPR.
• Subsequent changes to a player's DUPR rating will not be considered.
• Players found exceeding category limits may be disqualified without refund.
• All eligible match results will be submitted to DUPR.
Player List & DUPR Protests
• The official player list will be published 1 week before the tournament to allow players to raise concerns and assist the organiser in ensuring a fair and competitive tournament.
• Only participants registered in the respective category may submit a protest regarding another player's DUPR eligibility.
• All protests must include the reporter's name and relevant supporting details for verification by the organisers.
• The identity of the reporter will be kept strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to the reported player.
• Players are encouraged to report any suspicious DUPR activity, rating irregularities, or potential manipulation to the organisers.
• The organiser's decision regarding DUPR eligibility, protests, and tournament integrity shall be final.
Dispute Deadline
• All disputes, protests, and complaints regarding DUPR eligibility must be submitted no later than 14 Jan 2027.
• After 14 Jan 2027, no further complaints, objections, or eligibility disputes will be entertained, except in exceptional circumstances at the organiser's discretion.
• Once the dispute period closes, the player eligibility and tournament draw shall be considered final.
• The dispute deadline does not prevent the organiser from taking action if new evidence of DUPR manipulation, fraud, or eligibility violations is discovered after the deadline.
