Get ready for a competitive day of rally-scoring pickleball at the DDPSC FRAMILY RALLY SERIES.

This tournament is open to players who do not have a recent podium finish in the category they are entering. 

Players who do have a recent podium finish may still be eligible if their result qualifies under one of the specific exemptions stated in these Terms & Conditions.

1. CATEGORY & DUPR REQUIREMENTS

CATEGORY 1 — WOMEN’S DOUBLES

Time: 9:00 AM

Check-in: 8:30 AM

Combined DUPR: <5.699

Individual Maximum DUPR: <2.999

NR Rating: 2.75

CATEGORY 2 — MIXED DOUBLES

Time: 12:00 PM

Check-in: 11:30 AM

Combined DUPR: <5.999

Individual Maximum DUPR: <3.299

NR Rating: 2.95

CATEGORY 3 — MEN’S DOUBLES

Time: 3:00 PM

Check-in: 2:30 PM

Combined DUPR: <5.999

Individual Maximum DUPR: <3.299

NR Rating: 2.95

NR Players

Players without an established DUPR rating (NR) are permitted to participate.

For eligibility purposes, an NR player will be assigned the applicable NR rating stated above.

Any DUPR rating change occurring after registration will not affect the player’s eligibility for this tournament.

Players with evidence of suspicious DUPR manipulation or rating inflation within the previous 3 months may be deemed ineligible by the Organising Committee.

2. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

To participate, every player must satisfy both of the following:

1. The applicable DUPR requirements for their category; and
2. The applicable Non-Podium Eligibility Requirements.

The eligibility requirements are based on the category in which the player is registered.

Women’s Doubles

• Combined DUPR must be <5.699.
• Individual DUPR must be <2.999.
• NR players are permitted and will be treated as 2.75 for eligibility purposes.

Mixed Doubles

• Combined DUPR must be <5.999.
• Individual DUPR must be <3.299.
• NR players are permitted and will be treated as 2.95 for eligibility purposes.

Men’s Doubles

• Combined DUPR must be <5.999.
• Individual DUPR must be <3.299.
• NR players are permitted and will be treated as 2.95 for eligibility purposes.

3. NON-PODIUM ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS

A player who has achieved a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place podium finish in the same category they are entering, recorded on SportsSync or Baseline within the previous 6 months, is not eligible to participate unless that result qualifies under at least one of the exemptions below.

Podium results recorded on RECLUB are expressly exempt and will not be considered for eligibility purposes.

Exemption 1 — Timeframe

The podium finish occurred before 16 March 2026.

Exemption 2 — Draw Size

The tournament bracket consisted of 24 teams or fewer.

Exemption 3 — Prize Money

The cash prize awarded to the Champion of that specific bracket was RM1,000 or less.

Important: At least one of the above exemptions must apply for a podium result to be disregarded for eligibility purposes.

4. CATEGORY-SPECIFIC PODIUM ELIGIBILITY

Only podium results in the same category being entered will affect eligibility.

Women’s Doubles

Only Women’s Doubles podium results recorded on SportsSync or Baseline are considered.

A player with a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place Women’s Doubles finish during the restricted period is not eligible unless the result qualifies under one of the exemptions stated above.

Podium finishes in other categories do not affect Women’s Doubles eligibility.

Mixed Doubles

Only Mixed Doubles podium results recorded on SportsSync or Baseline are considered.

A player with a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place Mixed Doubles finish during the restricted period is not eligible unless the result qualifies under one of the exemptions stated above.

Podium finishes in other categories do not affect Mixed Doubles eligibility.

Men’s Doubles

Only Men’s Doubles podium results recorded on SportsSync or Baseline are considered.

A player with a 1st, 2nd or 3rd place Men’s Doubles finish during the restricted period is not eligible unless the result qualifies under one of the exemptions stated above.

Podium finishes in other categories do not affect Men’s Doubles eligibility.

5. PLAYER DECLARATION & ORGANISER AUDIT

By registering for the tournament, each player confirms that:

• They meet the applicable Non-Podium Eligibility Requirements.
• They meet the applicable DUPR requirements.
• They have disclosed any relevant podium results from 16 March 2026 up to the date of registration.
• All information provided during registration is complete and accurate.

The Organising Committee reserves the right to review player profiles and historical tournament records on SportsSync and Baseline before the official draw.

Players may be required to provide supporting evidence to verify their eligibility.

Any team or player found to have:

• Provided false or misleading information;
• Concealed a restricted podium result;
• Used multiple DUPR accounts;
• Manipulated or misrepresented a DUPR rating; or
• Otherwise breached the tournament eligibility requirements

may be disqualified immediately without a refund.

6. TOURNAMENT FORMAT

The same tournament format applies to all three categories.

GROUP STAGE

Maximum: 24 teams per category

• 4 groups of 6 teams: Groups A–D.
• Each team plays 5 round-robin matches.
• The top 3 teams from each group advance.
• A total of 12 teams advance to the Knockout Stage.

Group Ranking

Teams will be ranked in the following order:

1. Total matches won
2. Head-to-head result
3. Score difference

KNOCKOUT STAGE

Preliminary Knockout Round

The 4  groups TOP 1 winners receive a BYE into the Quarterfinals.

The eight teams finishing 2nd and 3rd in their respective groups will compete in the Preliminary Knockout Round.

Teams will be seeded based on their Group Stage performance.

Teams from the same group will not face each other in this round.

Quarterfinals

The four groups Top 1 winners will join the four Preliminary Knockout winners.

The tournament will then proceed as follows:

Quarterfinals → Semifinals → 3rd Place Match → Final

7. SCORING FORMAT

Group Stage

• First to 15 rally points
• At 14–14: Sudden Death
• No side switch

Quarterfinals & Semifinals

• First to 15 rally points
• At 14–14: Serve-to-Win
• Switch sides at 8 points

3rd Place Match & Final

• First to 21 rally points
• At 20–20: Serve-to-Win
• Switch sides at 11 points

DUPR Submission

This is a DUPR-SUBMITTED TOURNAMENT.

Eligible match results from the tournament will be submitted to DUPR.

8. MATCH PLAY & SELF-OFFICIATING

All matches are self-officiated. No referees or umpires will be assigned.

Players are responsible for:

• Making their own line calls.
• Calling their own faults.
• Keeping track of the score.
• Serving in the correct order.
• Resolving minor disputes respectfully.

The Host is not an umpire or referee and will not routinely officiate matches.

However, the Host may intervene when necessary in cases involving:

• Disputes that cannot be resolved by the players;
• Repeated rule violations; or
• Unsportsmanlike conduct.

Any ruling made by the Host in such circumstances will be final and binding.

9. TIMEOUT & INJURY RULES

Timeouts

• No timeouts are permitted during the Group Stage, Quarterfinals or Semifinals.
• One 1-minute timeout per team is allowed during the 3rd Place Match and Final.

Injury Time

• A maximum of 10 minutes of injury time per incident is allowed.
• Players must stop playing immediately if they feel unwell or injured.

10. CODE OF CONDUCT

All participants are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and treat their opponents, partners, Host, organisers and fellow participants with respect.

The Host reserves the right to remove or ban any participant for:

• Rule violations;
• Unsportsmanlike conduct;
• Disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour; or
• Failure to comply with event rules or reasonable Host instructions.

11. REWARDS

The following reward structure applies separately to each category.

4TH PLACE

The above reward structure applies separately to Women’s Doubles, Mixed Doubles and Men’s Doubles.

Customised DDPSC club jerseys with name printing will be prepared and awarded within 20 working days after the tournament.

12. CASH PRIZE STRUCTURE

The cash prize structure applies separately to each category.

24 Teams

Full cash prizes as stated above are guaranteed.

8–23 Teams

Cash prizes will be prorated based on the final number of confirmed teams.

Fewer Than 8 Teams

The Organiser reserves the right to postpone or cancel the affected category.

If a category is cancelled due to insufficient participation, the RM200 tournament entry fee will be fully refunded, subject to the refund terms below.

Any changes to the prize structure or event status will be communicated to registered participants.

13. REGISTRATION, CANCELLATION & REFUND TERMS

Registration Confirmation

Registration is confirmed only when both of the following conditions have been met:

1. Full payment has been received through SportsSync; and
2. The player/team has successfully passed the eligibility verification.

Payment does not override the eligibility requirements.

For Non-Podium eligibility, the relevant podium record will be assessed up to the date of registration.

Only podium results recorded on SportsSync and Baseline are considered.

RECLUB podium results are expressly exempt.

Podium results obtained after registration will not affect eligibility for this tournament.

Tournament Entry Fee

The tournament entry fee is RM200 per team.

Any additional SportsSync Getaway Charge, platform fee, service fee, transaction fee or other third-party charge is separate from the RM200 tournament entry fee and does not form part of the Organiser’s tournament revenue.

Refund Amount

Where a refund is applicable, the Organiser will refund only the RM200 tournament entry fee.

Any SportsSync Getaway Charge, platform fee, service fee, transaction fee or other third-party charge collected during registration is non-refundable by the Organiser.

Player Cancellation

Registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been made, except where specifically stated in these Terms & Conditions.

Cancellation Within 24 Hours

No refunds or cancellations are permitted within 24 hours of the scheduled start time.

Organiser Cancellation

If the Organiser cancels the tournament, the RM200 tournament entry fee will be fully refunded.

Third-party charges are excluded from the refund.

Postponement

If the tournament is postponed, participants may:

• Retain their existing slot; or
• Request a refund of the RM200 tournament entry fee.

Third-party charges are non-refundable by the Organiser.

Insufficient Participation

If a category is cancelled due to insufficient participation, the RM200 tournament entry fee will be fully refunded.

Third-party charges are excluded from the refund.

Disqualification

Teams or players disqualified due to eligibility violations, false declarations, concealed podium results, account integrity issues or other rule breaches are not entitled to a refund.

Third-Party Charges

The Organiser is not responsible for refunding any charges imposed directly by SportsSync or other third-party service providers.

14. LIABILITY & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

All participants join and play at their own risk.

Participants are responsible for assessing their own physical condition before and during the event.

The Organiser and venue are not responsible for injuries, accidents, losses or damages occurring before, during or after the event.

The Organiser will not be liable for lost or damaged personal belongings.

Participants must stop playing immediately if they feel unwell or injured and seek appropriate assistance where necessary.

15. MEDIA CONSENT

By registering for and participating in this event, participants consent to photographs and videos taken during the event being used by DDPSC for media, promotional and marketing purposes.

16. DISQUALIFICATION & APPEAL PROCESS

If a player or team is disqualified due to an eligibility or Non-Podium restriction issue, they may submit a formal appeal.

Appeal Timeline

Appeals must be submitted in writing via the official email or WhatsApp within 48 hours of receiving the disqualification notice.

Evidence Required

The player must provide verifiable evidence demonstrating that the relevant podium finish qualifies under one of the stated exemptions.

Examples of acceptable supporting evidence include:

• An official or historical tournament bracket showing that the draw consisted of 40 teams or fewer; or
• Official tournament documentation confirming that the Champion’s cash prize was RM1,000 or less.

Appeal Decision

The Organising Committee will review the evidence and issue a decision within 24 hours.

The Committee’s decision is final and binding.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTICE

By completing registration and payment, all participants confirm that they have read, understood and agreed to the DDPSC FRAMILY RALLY SERIES Terms & Conditions.

Non-Podium eligibility is a primary requirement of this tournament.

For Non-Podium eligibility:

• Only podium results in the same category being entered are considered.
• SportsSync and Baseline podium results are considered.
• RECLUB podium results are expressly exempted.
• The relevant podium result must have occurred within the restricted 6-month period.
• A podium result may still qualify for an exemption based on the date, draw size or Champion’s cash prize.
• Players must also meet the applicable DUPR requirements.

This is a DUPR-SUBMITTED TOURNAMENT, and eligible match results will be submitted to DUPR.
