​## Forever Young 50+ Rookies Pickleball Tournament

​Stay fit, stay healthy, stay happy — and stay forever young! Join us for a day of laughter, vitality, and camaraderie. This event is proudly supported by Pickleland X Forever Young Club X DanZen Community.

​## 1. Tournament Schedule & Venue

• ​Date: 5th July 2026 (Sunday)
• ​Time: 8:00 AM until completion
• ​Location: Pickleland, Bayan Baru

​

## 2. Team Composition & Eligibility

​To maintain a fair and fun environment for our "Forever Young" community, the following rules apply:

• ​Team Size: Each team must consist of 4 to 6 players.
• ​Age Requirement: All participants must be 50 years old or above.
• ​Gender Requirement: Minimum of 1 female player per team.
• ​Rookie Status: This is a "No Podium" event. Strictly NO players who have achieved a Top 3 finish in any previous public pickleball tournaments that prizes more than RM 1500 are allowed.
• ​Verification: The organizer reserves the right to verify age and past performance at any time.

​## 3. Tournament Structure

​The tournament is limited to 30 teams (minimum 16 teams to proceed).

• ​Pool Stage: 4 Pools (A, B, C, D) with 6 teams each.
• ​Format: Round-robin within each pool.
• ​Advancement: Top 2 teams from each pool advance to the Quarterfinals.
• ​Knockout Stage: Quarterfinals → Semifinals → Final & 3rd Place Match.

## 4. Match Format & Scoring

​Matches will be conducted using the Rally Point System:

• ​Standard Matches (MD & Mixed): Played to 21 points. Teams change sides at 11 points.
• ​Sudden Death: If the score reaches 20–20, the next point wins (no deuce).
• ​Dreambreakers: A unique team tie-breaker or rotation match. Players rotate every 4 points. The first team to reach 25 points wins.

## 6. Registration & Fees

• ​Early Bird Fee: RM 259 per team (before 31st May 2026)
• ​Standard Fee: RM 359 per team. (1st June to 17th June 2026)
• ​Confirmation: Slots are only confirmed upon receipt of payment.

​## 7. Final Authority

​The organizers reserve the right to adjust the tournament format based on the final number of registered teams. All decisions made by the organizing committee regarding eligibility, scoring disputes, and conduct are final and binding.
