📢We're calling all pickleball enthusiasts to take part in the Tekun@Jom Pickleball Tournament 2026, Muar - a high-level showdown where passion meets prestige.

Whether you're in it to win it or just for the fun, this tournament is the perfect way to challenge yourself, meet the community, and enjoy an exciting weekend of pickleball action.

1️⃣ Novice Men's Doubles (DUPR 2.999 & below)

2️⃣ Novice Mixed Doubles (DUPR 2.999 & below)

‼️You are allowed to participate in more than 1 category as far as the schedule is not crash.

Tournament Schedule:

🗓️12 September 2026

1️⃣ Novice Men’s Doubles - ⏰ 8am onward

2️⃣ Novice Mixed Doubles - ⏰ 3pm onward

Tournament Format:

1️⃣Group Stage (Round Robin): 1 game to 15 rally points

2️⃣Round of 16 : 1 game to 15 rally points

3️⃣Quarter Final & Semi Final : 1 game to 21 rally points

4️⃣3rd Place & Final : Best of 3 games, 15 rally points

5️⃣Court sides switch upon 8 points for games to 15 points, and upon 11 points for games to 21 points

6️⃣All games is in sudden death format, no serve to win & no deuce

7️⃣Time-Out :1 minute per team (1 time-out only) starting from Quarter Finals to Finals

8️⃣All players are expected to join with integrity. Substitution of players, creation of sub-account, manipulation of DUPR ratings are NOT allowed and in such cases the Tournament Committee reserves the right to verify or disqualify ineligible players.

9️⃣Match scheduling and timings are subject to change based on tournament progress.

‼️ Match Officiating

1️⃣ One umpire will be present for Round Robin, Quarter Final, to announce the score (from Quarter Final onward) and monitor kitchen violations, and may assist if the line calls are clearly visible.

2️⃣ Players are responsible for making their own line calls on the receiver.

‼️ 3rd Place and Final Officiating

1️⃣ One umpire will be present to announce the score and monitor kitchen violations.

2️⃣ Two line-umpires will be present to announce for line calls.

📢 Important Notes & Declarations:

1️⃣ All participants’ paddles must be USAPA/ UPA-A specifications, and if the tournament in charge deems your paddle does not meet these specifications, they have the right to ask players to change the paddle.

2️⃣ All match results will be recorded at Sport sync & DUPR scores will be submitted.

3️⃣ Players must register at least 30 minutes before the tournament starts.

4️⃣ Please bring your NRIC on the match day for verification purposes.

5️⃣ Registration fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled or postponed.

6️⃣ All participants are responsible for ensuring their own physical fitness.

7️⃣ All participants are welcome to contact us if they find any player who does not meet the above requirements.

8️⃣ Organizer reserve the rights to adjust the rules or format when necessary.

Men & Mixed's Doubles Novice Tournament

(DUPR 3.0 & Below)

Terms & Conditions:

Registration and Eligibility:

1️⃣ Players must have DUPR rating 3.0 & below ONLY.

2️⃣ Players who have won 1st/2nd/3rd place in events above DUPR 3.0 from 1st Jan 2026 till date of registration (excluding interclubs, team events, private, small prize money or small-participant events) are not eligible.

3️⃣ Players who have won 1st place in DUPR 3.0 & below events from 1st Jan 2026 till date of registration (with the same exceptions as above) are not eligible.

4️⃣Players who have more than 3 podiums from 1st Jan 2026 till date of registration even in a lower categories are not eligible.

5️⃣Using 2nd / fake accounts is strictly prohibited. If discovered, you will be disqualified or banned from the tournament without a refund.
