Get ready for an exciting weekend of competition at the YYC x XERO Pickle Open 2026, a community-driven pickleball tournament that brings together passionate players from across the country. Powered by sustainability and sportsmanship, this event aims to provide a competitive yet enjoyable platform for players to challenge themselves, connect with fellow athletes, and celebrate the growing pickleball community.

🎯 Levels: Combined DUPR 5.5 & 6.5

Registration Fees

🐦 Early Bird Rate: RM198 per team

📅 Valid until 15 July 2026

🎟️ Regular Rate: RM228 per team

📅 From 16 July 2026 onwards

Applicable to all categories.

Tournament Format

• Max 48 teams per category (5.5) / 32 team per category (6.5)
• Round Robin Stage: 12 groups / 8 groups of 4 teams
• Every team plays all teams within their group
• R16: Top 2 teams from each group advance
• Quarter Finals: Winners of R16 advance
• Semi Finals: Winners of Quarter Finals advance
• 3rd/4th Placing Match: Semi-final losers compete for the podium
• Finals: Championship showdown to crown the champions

Eligibility

• Open to all age groups
• Valid and verified DUPR profile required
• Players may register in multiple skill levels. Please check the tournament schedule carefully before registering. The Organiser will not be responsible for any match time clashes.
• No Rating (NR) players are not eligible
• Tournament results will not affect official DUPR ratings

Sunday, 16 August 2026 – Combined 6.5

🕗 8:00 AM - 12 pm – Mixed Doubles (XD)

🕚 12:00pm- 4pm – Women's Doubles (WD)

🕜 1:30 PM - 6pm – Men’s Doubles (MD)

Schedule is subject to change based on the number of registrations and tournament requirements. Players are advised to be present at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match time.

Scoring Format

Round Robin → Quarterfinals

• 15-point rally scoring
• Round Robin: Sudden death at 14–14
• Knockout stages (QF): Win by 2
• Point cap: 19

Semi-Finals

• 21-point rally scoring
• Win by 2
• Point cap: 25
• 1-minute timeout available

Final

• Best of 3 games
• 15 points per game
• Win by 2
• 1-minute timeout available

Timeouts

• Regular timeout: 1 minute, available from the semi-finals onwards.
• Medical timeout: 10 minutes maximum.
• Each player/team may use a medical timeout once per match.
• An unused medical timeout cannot be carried forward to the next game or match.

Round Robin Qualification & Tie-Breakers

Teams/players are ranked in this order:

1. Matches won — highest number of wins ranks higher.
2. Point difference — total points scored minus total points conceded.
3. Head-to-head (H2H) — result between the tied teams/players.
4. Total points scored — higher total points scored ranks higher.

DUPR & Tournament Authority

• Any player found to have manipulated, misrepresented, or concealed their DUPR rating or playing history will be disqualified without refund.
• The Tournament Director reserves the right to verify player eligibility and make rulings on all tournament matters.
• All decisions made by the Tournament Director are final.
