🏆 About the Tournament

The Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 is a multi-state pickleball tournament series created to bring together competitive players from across Malaysia while supporting a meaningful charitable cause.

This tournament series will feature multiple state tours, where teams compete for the opportunity to qualify for the Grand Final later in the year.

The series offers a total prize pool of RM30,000 for this event, with the top-performing teams from selected categories advancing to the next stage of the championship journey.

The Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 is designed to deliver:

  • a professionally organized tournament experience
  • a competitive pathway towards the Grand Final
  • strong community engagement through charity-focused sports events
  • an exciting platform for players across different states to compete

🎯 Qualification to Grand Final

At each state tour:

Top 4 teams from Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles will qualify for the Grand Final.

Please note that Women’s Doubles will be contested as a standalone event at each tour and will not have a Grand Final at the end of the year.

Qualified teams from Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles will advance to compete at the Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 Grand Final later in the year.

Qualified teams from Men’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles will be representing the state at Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 Grand Final.

Qualified player or team that has already qualified from one state tour shall not be permitted to rejoin, compete, or represent any other state in the Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026 series. Any violation of this rule may result in immediate disqualification and forfeiture of qualification status.

Rules & Regulations

Interstate Charity Master Cup 2026

  1. This tournament is open to the following combined categories only:
  • Men’s Doubles Combined < 6.5 (Capped Dupr 3.499)
  • Mixed Doubles Combined < 6.2 (Capped Dupr 3.299)
  • Women’s Doubles Combined < 6.1 (Capped Dupr 3.199)
  1. Tournament format and scoring will be as follows:
  • Round Robin / Group Stage: Rally scoring to 15 points, 1 game only
  • Round of 16: Rally scoring to 15 points, 1 game only
  • Quarter Finals: Rally scoring to 15 points, 1 game only
  • Semi Finals: Rally scoring to 21 points, 1 game only
  • 3rd / 4th Placing: Rally scoring to 15 points, Best of 3 games
  • Final: Rally scoring to 15 points, Best of 3 games
  1. All 1-game matches will be played with no deuce, sudden death. Once the match point is reached, the match ends.
  2. In the event of a tie in group-stage rankings, the following tie-breakers will apply in order:
  • Head-to-head result
  • Point difference
  • Any further decision by the Tournament Director, if required
  1. As this is a pickleball tournament, all participants are encouraged to compete in the right spirit, while also networking, socializing, and building meaningful connections throughout the event.
  2. Players are allowed to replace their partner only before the registration deadline. Once registration is closed, no player replacement or substitution will be allowed. Any team found making unauthorized player changes after registration closes may be disqualified.
  3. Each match will begin with a 1-minute warm-up.
  4. Players must report promptly when their match is called. If a player or team is called more than 2 times and still fails to appear on court, or arrives more than 3 minutes after their match is announced, the referee or tournament organizer has the right to disqualify that player or team.
  5. No protests or appeals will be entertained regarding no-shows, late arrivals, or walkovers. All decisions by the organizers and referees are final.
  6. All players are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled match to avoid delays, missed announcements, or walkovers.
  7. If a player is playing in more than one category, it is the player’s responsibility to inform the umpire or marshalling team in advance. Failure to do so may result in disqualification if the player misses a called match.
  8. Players are responsible for their own belongings at all times. The organizers will not be responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.
  9. All players participate at their own risk. The organizers, officials, and venue will not be held responsible for any injuries, accidents, or health-related incidents occurring before, during, or after the tournament.
  10. Safety must always come first. Players are expected to act responsibly and avoid conduct that may endanger themselves or others.
  11. Once registration has been submitted and accepted, no refunds will be allowed. If a player is unable to attend, the team may be advised to find a replacement before the registration deadline, subject to organizer approval.
  12. The organizer and referees reserve the right to disqualify any player or team for unsportsmanlike behavior, disrespectful conduct, poor communication, or any action that disrupts the tournament.
  13. If any category does not meet the minimum required number of participants, the organizer reserves the right to:
  • merge categories
  • cancel that category
  • revise or reduce the prize pool
  • adjust the format as necessary
  1. The organizer reserves the right to use any photographs or videos taken during the tournament for future promotional, marketing, and publicity purposes.
  2. A protest window will be provided for players to raise category eligibility concerns before the event begins. Any protest regarding a player’s combined rating must be submitted together with evidence.
  3. If the protest is found to be invalid, false, or unsupported, protest will be invalid.
  4. Any protest must be supported by valid evidence. It is the responsibility of the protesting player/team to provide proof of the alleged rating or eligibility violation.
  5. Once the official protest period is closed, strictly no further protests will be entertained. Any attempt to raise disputes after the protest period, or during the event in a way that disrupts tournament flow, may result in disqualification.
  6. The organizer reserves the right to review player ratings and eligibility at the time of registration and at any point before the event. If there is reason to believe a player has manipulated or misrepresented their rating in order to enter a lower category, the organizer may move or disqualify the player/team without appeal.
  7. Each registered player is entitled to one tournament T-shirt per registration, subject to availability.

  10. In all matters relating to tournament operations, scheduling, player eligibility, disputes, and disciplinary action, the decision of the Tournament Director and organizing committee shall be final.
