Age Requirement: 35+ (All categories), 35 included OK! not 36 and above.

DUPR Reliability Requirement: Minimum 80% reliability required for all players upon registration. Don't la buat new DUPR.

Tournament Format & Scoring Rules

Group Stage: Round Robin | Rally to 13 (Instant Death)

Knockout Stage: Double Elimination / Losers Bracket | Rally to 13 (Instant Death)

Top Bracket Final, Lower Bracket Final And Grand Final | Rally to 15 (Serve to Win)

KEY STUFFS* Player Conduct & Rules

Based on USA Pickleball Rulebook

Line Calls & Receiver Authority (yall love to dispute this)

Line calls are strictly the responsibility of the receiving team on their side of the net.

Calls must be made promptly and clearly via voice or hand signal.

If a team is uncertain whether a ball was in or out, the ball must be called IN.

If there is a dispute, the point must be repeated.

Strict 5-Minute Default Rule

To keep the tournament on schedule, teams must report to their assigned court within 5 minutes of their fixture call.

Arriving late results in an immediate walkover/bye awarded to the opponent (recorded as 13–0 or 15–0). No extensions will be granted.

Serve & Kitchen Violation Disputes

Faults (including illegal serve motions, foot faults during serves, or Non-Volley Zone / Kitchen violations during volleys) must be called clearly. If opponents disagree on a physical fault call that cannot be verified, the point must be replayed.

Mandatory Dress Code & Footwear

All participants must wear standard athletic attire (Kazza got you covered) and non-marking court shoes.

Players attempting to compete in running shoes, black-sole non-court shoes, or inappropriate attire will not be allowed on the court.

Medical Timeouts & Stoppage of Play

Each team receives one 60-second regular timeout per match. A single 3-minute medical timeout is permitted per player for genuine injuries.

If a player cannot resume after 3 minutes, the match is forfeited.

Health, Fitness & Risk Acknowledgment

By registering, all participants confirm they are physically fit to compete in a high-intensity event.

Players acknowledge all inherent risks of sports participation; organizers accept no liability for personal injuries or medical emergencies incurred during the event.

Personal Belongings & Venue Conduct

Participants are solely responsible for their personal items and equipment.

The organizers and Tropickle Club are not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen property. Unsportsmanlike conduct, bad language, or equipment abuse will result in immediate disqualification without a refund.

Paddle Eligibility & Verification

Both UPA-approved and USAP/USAPA-approved paddles are permitted.

Players are strictly responsible for checking the official approved paddle lists prior to match start.

Playing with an unapproved paddle results in an immediate match forfeit.

Sportsmanship

High sportsmanship is strictly enforced. Integrity and mutual respect are non-negotiable on and off the court.
