🌟 EVENT OVERVIEW

This might be your first step into the competitive scene. While there are no massive cash prizes, we've prepared a highly stylized Black Pink series jersey crafted by ZURA designers for every participant. We will also filter out frequent podium finishers to ensure the competition remains fair and highly competitive.

  • Category: Women's Doubles
  • Fees: RM148 per team
  • Time: 2:00PM – 6:00pm (Please arrive by 1:30PM)
  • Venue: Tomaz Pickleball Club @ Subang
  • Ball: Franklin X-40
  • All match results will be recorded and submitted DUPR via Sport Sync.
  • Players must be at least 18 years old.


📌 PODIUM RESTRICTION RULES


  • Who Can Join? 🏆 This stage is for rising stars! Past Champions (Gold medalists from Jan 2025 to present in any Sports Sync category) will sit this one out. But if you’ve claimed Silver or Bronze, or are still hunting for your first medal, we want you! Bonus: We only look at your track record at the moment you hit 'Register'. If you win a championship somewhere else tomorrow, your spot here is still 100% safe!
  • Exclusions: This restriction excludes company events, Team Tournament, club-internal tournaments, and any Mini Tour events with fewer than 20 participating teams or prize below RM800.
  • Verification: Verification is based strictly on results from Sports Sync. "Re-club" (internal club) & Baseline podium finishes are exempt from this restriction.
  • Enforcement: Should a player be found to have violated these restrictions, the Organizer or Tournament Director reserves the right to either reclassify the team to a higher category or disqualify the team immediately.



📌 ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA


  • DUPR Rating Requirements:
  • Combined Team DUPR must be < 5.500.
  • Individual DUPR must be < 2.999.
  • Note: Players without an established rating (NR) will be treated as 2.999 for eligibility purposes. Please ensure your DUPR status remains below 2.999 on registration date. DUPR After Registration will not affect your participation.
  • Integrity: No evidence of suspicious DUPR manipulation or rating inflation within the past 3 months is permitted.



📌 DISQUALIFICATION POLICY


  • Account Integrity: Players found using multiple DUPR accounts with inconsistent ratings will be disqualified immediately.
  • Non-Refundable: Registration fees are strictly non-refundable for any team disqualified due to eligibility violations or rule breaches.

 

🎾 MATCH FORMAT: MINI CUP


Tournament Structure

  • Capacity: 32 teams divided into 8 groups (Group A ,B, C, D, E, F, G, H) of 4 teams each, Each Group 2 Higher Seeding , others assigned randomly,
  • Group Stage: Round-robin format. Each team plays 3 matches.
  • Knockout Stage: The top 2 teams from each group advance to the Round of 16
  • Seeding Criteria: Ranking will be determined by:
  1. Total games won
  2. Head-to-head result
  3. Score difference (points)


Scoring & Rules

  • Group Stage: 15 rally points, sudden death (no serve-to-win required).
  • Knockout Stage (Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals ): 15 rally points, serve-to-win at 14 - 14
  • Knockout Stage (3rd Place & Finals): 21 rally points, serve-to-win at 20 - 20


Match Play & Etiquette

  • Officiating: Self-officiated. Receivers are responsible for calling lines and faults. We ask all players to resolve disputes respectfully and in the spirit of fair play.
  • Host Authority: The Host reserves the right to intervene if sufficient complaints are lodged against a player. All decisions and rulings made by the Host or Umpire are final and binding.
  • Timeouts:
  • No timeouts allowed during the Pool Stage, Quarterfinals, Semifinals
  • One 1-minute timeout per team allowed during 3rd Place, and Final matches.
  • Injury Protocol: Maximum 10 minutes of injury time permitted per incident.


Code of Conduct

  • The Host reserves the absolute right to remove or ban any participant for rule violations, unsportsmanlike conduct, or failure to respect tournament officials.

**Prize pools will be prorated according to the final team count if the minimum registration threshold is not achieved.**


 

⚖️ ORGANIZER’S DECLARATION & TERMS

 

  1. The organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify the event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, venue issues, or safety concerns).
  2. If canceled, a full refund will be issued.
  3. If postponed, participants may choose to retain their slot or request a refund.
  4. No refunds once payment is made, except as stated above.
  5. No refunds or cancellations allowed within 24 hours of game time.
  6. All participants join and play at their own risk.
  7. The organizer and venue are not responsible for injuries, accidents, losses, or damages occurring before, during, or after the event.
  8. Participants are responsible for their physical condition and must stop play immediately if feeling unwell or injured.
  9. The organizer will not be liable for lost or damaged personal belongings.
  10.  All players are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship, respect, and compliance with event rules.The organizer reserves the right to disqualify or remove any participant who fails to do so.
  11. Any disputes or disciplinary matters will be handled at the organizer’s discretion — all decisions are final.
  12. By joining this event, participants consent to the use of photos and videos taken during the event by the Club for media, promotional, and marketing purposes.
