PICKLE CIRCUS MEN’S DOUBLES FACE-OFF


Get ready for a night of competitive men’s doubles pickleball hosted by Pickle Circus. Bring your partner and compete for cash prizes at Double Bounce Balakong!

TOURNAMENT FORMAT

Teams will compete in the group stage. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals, third-place match and final.


DUPR ELIGIBILITY

* Combined DUPR must be below 5.8.

* Each player’s individual DUPR must be below 2.999.

* Eligibility is based on each player’s DUPR rating on the date of registration. Rating changes after registration will not affect eligibility.

* NR will be considered as DUPR 2.899 for eligibility purposes.

* Match results will not be submitted to DUPR.

* Only one player per team may have a podium finish. The other player must not have any SportsSync or Baseline podium finishes.


RULES & REGULATIONS

1. Scoring: Group stage, quarterfinals and semifinals will use 15-point rally scoring with sudden death. The third-place match and final will use 21-point rally scoring with sudden death.


2. Score Calling:The server must clearly call the score before every serve. Both teams are responsible for confirming the score before play continues.


3. Group Stage Tiebreaker: Ties in group standings will be decided by total point difference (points scored minus points conceded). If exactly two teams are tied, head-to-head results will be used.


4. Punctuality: Players must be ready at their scheduled match time. Failure to appear on time will result in a walkover.


5. Medical Timeout: One injury timeout of up to 10 minutes is allowed. If a player cannot continue after the timeout, the match will be forfeited.


6. Partner Replacement: A replacement is allowed only with approval from the Tournament Director. The replacement player must meet all eligibility and DUPR requirements. Replacements must be made no later than one day before the tournament. Unapproved player changes will result in disqualification.


7. Safety & Belongings: Players are responsible for their own belongings and participate at their own risk. The organizers are not responsible for loss, injury or accidents related to a player’s health condition. Safety comes first.


8. Player Conduct: Players must maintain good sportsmanship and respectful communication. The organizers and referees reserve the right to disqualify players for disrespectful behaviour or failure to follow tournament rules.


9. No Refunds: No refunds will be provided once registration is confirmed. If a player is unable to participate, the team may find an eligible replacement, subject to organizer approval and the replacement deadline.


10. Minimum Participation: Prize money is based on full registration of 20 teams. If the tournament does not reach 20 teams, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the cash prizes accordingly.


11. Photography & Media: The organizer reserves the right to use photos and videos taken during the tournament for promotional, sponsor and marketing purposes.
