Description
PPC League Game 1.0
1. Introduction & Organization
The PPC LEAGUE GAME (hereinafter referred to as "the League") is organized and administered by the PPC Club (hereinafter referred to as "the Organizer"). The League is a monthly event, with each season lasting one month. All participants (hereinafter referred to as "Players"), upon registration, agree to abide by these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility
• Players DUPR must below 3.399 or self-assess their skill level as at least 2.75. The League does not recommend participation for beginners.
• The organizer reserves the right to verify a player's skill level and may reject participation if the minimum level requirement is not met.
3. Registration & Payment
• Registration is considered complete only after a player has fully registered and made full payment of the registration fee through Sports Sync.
• Registration fee is RM28 per player. RM56 per team.
• Registration closes 1 days before the League commences. Late registration requests will not be accepted.
• All fees are non-refundable, unless the League is canceled by the organizer.
4. League Format & Structure
• Every Session will have 8 teams.
• Each group will adopt a round-robin format, ensuring every team competes against every other in the group.
• The match schedule will be announced by the organizer before the League begins.
5. Scoring, Rankings & Prizes
• 5.1. Match Scoring Format:
All matches will be single games using rally scoring, played to 13 points (sudden death). If the score reaches 12-12, the next point decides the match. Players must switch sides when either player first reaches 6 points.
• 5.2. Ranking System:
Team rankings within each group will be determined by the following statistics:
P: Number of matches played by the team.
W: Number of matches won by the team.
L: Number of matches lost by the team.
Pts: Total points for the team, calculated as W (wins) multiplied by 3.
• 5.3. Ranking Rules:
Final rankings will be primarily determined by total points (Pts). If points are tied, rankings will be decided in the following order:
- Team with fewer matches played (P) is ranked higher.
- Winner of the head-to-head match is ranked higher (if applicable).
- Team with the higher sum of points (Pts) of all opponents is ranked higher – It means if a team's opponents were collectively stronger (had higher points), their "Opponents' Points" will be higher, indicating a "more difficult schedule," thus granting a higher ranking when tied.
- Final decision by the Organizer.
• 5.4. Season Prizes:
At the end of each monthly season, the top three teams with the highest cumulative points will receive the following prizes:
1st: RM250 Tournament registration fee credit + 5 Facolos balls
2nd: RM150 Tournament registration fee credit + 3 Facolos balls
3rd: RM50 Tournament registration fee credit + 3 Facolos balls
(Note: Prize credits are provided by the organizer for future tournament registration fees. Usage is subject to rules announced by the organizer and is non-cash redeemable.)
6. Withdrawal & Absence Policy
• If a player withdraws after the registration deadline or fails to attend a scheduled match, all their remaining matches will be considered forfeited and recorded as a Loss (L). Their match count (P) will be updated accordingly.
• Registration fees are non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to withdrawal, absence, or disqualification due to violation of these Terms.
7. Code of Conduct
• All Players must demonstrate good sportsmanship and respect towards opponents, officials, the organizer, and the facilities.
• Any form of abusive behavior, cheating, or harassment will result in immediate disqualification without refund.
• Players must adhere to the official rules of pickleball and accept all judgments made by the organizer or designated officials.
8. Liability Waiver
• Players participate in the League at their own risk. Players acknowledge the inherent physical risks of the sport of pickleball and voluntarily assume all responsibility for any injuries, accidents, or loss of personal property that may occur.
• The organizer, its staff, and volunteers are not legally liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred by players during their participation in the League.
9. Privacy Policy
• Personal information collected during registration will be used solely for the purpose of organizing and administering the League. This information will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
10. General Terms
• The organizer reserves the right to make changes to the schedule, format, prizes, or these Terms and Conditions as necessary. Any changes will be communicated to Players promptly.
• Decisions made by the organizer regarding all matters related to the League are final and binding.
