Welcome to the Cyber Queens Pickleball Mini Tournament 2025 where we empower Women through Pickleball. As a community-based group, we welcome and support Women from all walks of life, including Stay-At-Home Mothers (SAHMs), Working Women, and all Women of various ages and backgrounds, to join this Mini Tournament!

TOURNAMENT DETAILS

📅Date: 7 December 2025 (Sunday), 8am to 12 noon

📍Venue: The Pickleball Valley, Jalan Kebun Tambahan, Kampung Batu Tujuh, Klang, Selangor

🎁Registration Fees: RM130 per Team

ELIGIBILITY & PARTICIPATION RULES

✅ All local & international Women players are welcomed

✅ Age 21 & above

✅ NR allowed to participate

✅ Eligibility DUPR Rating at time of registration

✅ IC/Passport verification at registration

✅ Registration confirm upon full payment

✅ Organizer reserves the right to amend details

📝Tournament Format & Scoring

1. Scoring Format - Rally Scoring (15 points)
2. Change Ends at 8 (Players to switch court after 1 team has scored the 8th point).
3. Sudden Death (No Deuce)
4. Knockoff - Quarter/Semi/Final: 1 game to 15 rally points
5. All games shall be officiated by the duly appointed competent Official Referees
6. The Official Referee shall call on Illegal Serves, Service Foot Faults, Non-Volley-Zone/Kitchen Faults, Short Serves, and Score Call
7. Players call their own lines i.e. calling all lines on their end of the court, including the centre line on a serve. Players may appeal on an Opponent’s line call to the Referee provided the Referee sees it clearly. Otherwise, the call on the court will stand. Any dispute on the line call between the two teams that cannot be settled amicably shall result on replay/re-serve
8. 1 Time out per team (1 min) ONLY applicable during Quarter Final onwards

🚨IMPORTANT RULES ON SERVICE:

➡️ Before serving the ball, please wait until the Referee calls the complete score

➡️ If the ball is served BEFORE the Referee calls the score, the Player has to re-serve

➡️ If the ball is served WHILE the Referee is calling the score, it is regarded as a Fault, a point shall be given to the Opponent side

Additional Notes for Group Stage format:

• Win = 3 Point, Draw = 1 Point, Lose = 0 Point, H-2-H = 1 Point

Match Regulation

• Punctuality
• Must register 30 minutes before the game start
• Forfeit for the whole matches, if failure to register after the assigned match start.

Warm-Up & Walkovers

• Players are allowed 2 minutes to warm-up after being instructed by the Referee. This includes Test Serve for each Player. However, the Official Referee has the discretion to omit the warm-up and the test serve due to time constraint.
• Matches must begin within 5 minutes of the scheduled start or when called.
• A 10-minute grace period applies. Failure to arrive within 10 minutes of match start may result in a walkover and recorded loss.

Medical Timeouts

• A 15-minute injury timeout will be allowed. If a Player cannot continue afterward, it will be considered a forfeit.

• Closing Date: 3 DECEMBER 2025

• Cancellation Policy: No refunds after payment

For all DUPR Rated Categories:

1. Must submit a valid DUPR ID on registration.
2. NR players are to self-evaluate their level; however, their participation is at discretion of the Tournament Director.
3. DUPR Ratings with a reliability less than 10% will be considered “NR”.
4. Using 2nd /fake accounts is strictly prohibited. If discovered, you will be disqualified or ban from the Mini Tournament.
5. Purposely lowering your DUPR rating by submitting fake matches will result in disqualification or ban from partaking in the tournament and a report to DUPR will be made.
6. All match results will be recorded and submitted via Sportssync.

Partner Replacements

If a player is unable to compete, a replacement may be allowed prior to the start of the first match, subject to the following:

1. The replacement must meet the eligibility and rating criteria of the division entered.
2. The change must be approved by the Tournament Director.

Media Release/Consent of Photography & Videography

By participating, Players and Spectators consent to being photographed or filmed during the event. Media may be used for promotional, social media, or sponsor purposes.

By participating in this Mini Tournament, you are deemed to be physically fit and healthy. The Organizer is not liable to any injury, damage or loss whatsoever incurred during the Mini Tournament. The Organizer also reserves the right to change the Mini Tournament period or terminate the Mini Tournament at any time without prior notice. The Organizer shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or expense arising from such changes or termination. The Organizer further reserves the right to modify, amend, delete, or add to these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice, and all participants agree to be bound by such revisions. All decisions made by the Organizer are final and binding.
