Mixed’s Doubles Novice Tournament

Location  : Premier Pickleball SS13

Format : Mixed Doubles’ Novice (DUPR < 3.000)

Teams : Maximum 12 teams (2 pools)

📝 Registration

1. Register through the Reclub page of OverDrive Pickleball and Sports Sync. 

2. Submit the DUPR profile link to the “Captain Chat” for eligibility verification.

3. Once approved, you will be notified to make payment via Sports Sync.

4. Any payment made before verification is non-refundable.

5. If your partner is found ineligible, you must find a new partner.

6. Registration Fee: RM110 per team.

📌 Eligibility

1. Player with podium above DUPR 3.0 are not eligible

2. DUPR reliability score must be above 70%

2. DUPR rating must be below 3.000 (based on the player’s highest DUPR rating between 1 Oct – 13 Dec 2025)

3. Players without a DUPR rating are not eligible (self-evaluation is not allowed)

4. Historical Podium Limits (for events <3.0 or combined <6.0):

           lesser than 16 teams: max 3 podiums per team

           between 16 – 48 teams: max 1 podium per team

           more than 48 teams: no podiums allowed

🚫 Disqualification Policy

1. Players found to have multiple DUPR accounts with different ratings will be disqualified.

2. Registration fees will not be refunded for disqualified players.

Group Stage

- 1 set to 13 (rally scoring) — sudden death at 12–12

- No side switching, no timeouts

- Receiving side makes all line calls

- Referee calls NVZ violations, short serves, service foot faults, and assists with scorekeeping & results submission

- All disputes handled respectfully; referee’s decision is final

Knockout Stage (Semi-Final)

- set to 21 (rally scoring) — win by serve at 20–20

- Switch sides at 11; 1 minute timeout per team

- Receiving side makes all line calls

- Referee calls NVZ violations, short serves, service foot faults, and assists with scorekeeping & results submission

- All disputes handled respectfully; referee’s decision is final

Knockout Stage (Final & 3/4 placing)

- Best of 3 — each set to 15 (rally scoring); win by serve at 14–14

- 1 minute timeout per team

- Receiving side makes all line calls

- Referee calls NVZ violations, short serves, service foot faults, and assists with scorekeeping & results submission

- All disputes handled respectfully; referee’s decision is final

1. All registration fees are non-refundable, except in the event of tournament cancellation or postponement.

2. In the event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued to all registered players.

In the event of postponement, registered teams may opt to retain their slot for the rescheduled date or request a full refund.

3. The organizer reserves the exclusive right to make final determinations regarding player eligibility, match regulations, and any modifications to the tournament details or format.

4. Prize values are subject to adjustment should the total number of registered teams fall below the targeted capacity.

5. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to compete.

6. The organizer shall bear no liability for injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the event. Participation is undertaken entirely at the player’s own risk.

7. Players who fail to check in on time may be disqualified without refund.

8. All decisions made by referees and organizer are final.
