Novice (DUPR ≤ 2.939)

• Men’s Doubles — 56 Teams
• Mixed Doubles — 56 Teams

Player Registration: Players may register for both categories.

• 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Novice Men’s Doubles
• 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Novice Mixed Doubles

🏆 Tournament Format

Structure:

• Group Stage: Round-robin format within each group(total 8pools)
• Knockout Stage: Top 2 teams from each group advance to round 16
• Format Adjustments: May be made based on total participants

Scoring:

Group Stage - Quarterfinal :

• Rally to 15 points
• Switch sides at 8 points
• Sudden death at 14-14
• no time out allowed

Semi Final,3rd placing & Final :

• Rally to 21 points
• Switch sides at 11 points
• Serve to win at 20–20
• 1 Minute time out per team

📌 Player Eligibility

1. Participants must have a verified DUPR rating of 2.939 or below (2.940 is not eligible)
2. The rating considered will be the highest DUPR score recorded since 1 January 2026.
3. Players without an official DUPR rating (NR) are eligible to register.
4. Any player found manipulating their DUPR through social games, or reported by other players for such actions, will be immediately disqualified with no refund.
5. Players found to have multiple DUPR accounts with different ratings will be disqualified.
6. Registration fees will not be refunded for disqualified players.

⚠️ Tournament Disclaimer

1. Registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been made, except in cases where the tournament is cancelled by the organizer.
2. If the event is cancelled, all registered teams will receive a full refund.
3. If the event is rescheduled, teams may choose to keep their slot for the new date or request a full refund.
4. The organizer reserves the right to review player eligibility, and to amend tournament rules, schedule, or format if necessary.
5. Prize amounts may be adjusted if the total number of registered teams does not meet the expected capacity.
6. Players must check in on time. Late arrivals may result in disqualification without refund.
7. All decisions made by referees and the organizing committee are final.
