‼️Important Rules for Lake View Inter-Community Pickleball Tournament (Combine <6.6)‼️:
Players Eligibility Criteria:
Lake View Club maintains the highest standards of fairness and commitment. To ensure integrity and consistency, all participating teams must fully comply with the eligibility criteria outlined below. If **any single criterion is not met by any player on a team, the entire team will be disqualified from the tournament. No exceptions will be made.
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Club/Community Membership:
Each player must be an active member of your Club/Community prior to the tournament registration opening date (23th June 2025).
2. Minimum Session Attendance:
Each player must have attended more than 8 sessions conducted by your club/community at the The Lake View Club venue before 23th June 2025.
o Sessions attended at other venues will not be counted.
o Players who joined or began attending sessions on or after 23th June 2025 are not eligible.
o STRICTLY NO import players – this event is to honour our internal community only
3. DUPR Eligibility:
o Players’ DUPR will be based on the rating recorded during registration.
o Players must have DUPR rating and at least 50% reliability. No rating (NR) is not eligible.
o Players must submit their DUPR profile link to your team captain for verification.
o There is no cap on an individual DUPR rating but the combine DUPR rating for each pairing for every category have to be BELOW 6.6.
General Rules 📝 :
1. Players must register at least 30 minutes before the tournament starts and report to their designated courts on time. A 10-minute late arrival results in a forfeit (no-show).
2. Matches will NOT be submitted to DUPR.
3. Each player is permitted to participate only once in any given team matchup. Multiple appearances by the same player within a single matchup are not allowed under any circumstances except (If applies) Dreambreaker – refer to Dreambreaker Format.
4. Any made paddles includes OEM, Replica, Approved/not-approved USAPA and even frying pan are acceptable in this tournament.
Payment & registration:
1. Registration fee: RM800 per team.
2. Payment method: DuitNOW to +60122080038 or MBB 562348004127 (VICTOR LING TECK SENG) and upload the receipt to secure your slot.
3. Teams are confirmed only after payment is received.
4. First paid, first served.

🎉 Special Lucky Draw Session Terms & Conditions 🎉
1. Eligibility - Only registered participants of the tournament are eligible to enter the Lucky Draw.
2. Presence Required - All eligible participants must be physically present during the Lucky Draw session to claim their prize.
3. Forfeiture Clause - If a participant’s name is drawn but they are not present, the prize will be forfeited and a new participant will be drawn immediately.
4. One Draw Per Participant - Each participant is entitled to only one lucky draw win. Once drawn and awarded a prize, they will not be eligible for subsequent draws.

Teams: 16, Groups: 4
Categories:
1. Men's Doubles (player age 19+)
2. Women's Doubles (player age 19+)
3. Mixed Doubles (player age 19+)
4. Men's Doubles (players combine age, 66+)
Phases:
Group Stage (Round Robin) If draw 2 – 2 Dreambreaker match applies.
1. Start with a preliminary round (round robin), 16 teams divided into 4 groups (ABCD)
2. On-site LIVE draw for group stage will be conducted on the 16th August 2025 at 8am (Court A)
3. Group stage tiebreaker priority (H2H Wins > Score Diff > Total score)
4. Top 2 from each group advance to Quarter Finals.
Playoffs - Quarterfinals > Semifinals > 3rd place > Grand Finals
1. Knock-out stage
2. If draw 2 – 2 Dreambreaker match applies.
🎯 Dreambreaker Format
1. Group stage, QFs and SFs
If match tie at 2-2, a dreambreaker match will be played, doubles format, 15 points sudden death (NO serve to win), switch every 4 points, must be in the team playing, same pairing in the match-up but sequence can be randomized.
2. 3rd/4th place and Grand Finals
If match tie at 2-2, a dreambreaker will be played, doubles format, 21 points sudden death (no serve to win), switch every 5 points, must be in the team playing, same pairing in the match-up but sequence can be randomized.
Scoring system
1. All group stage, quarterfinal and semifinal matches will be played in a 1 set of 15 points rally scoring, If score at 14 – 14 (Serve to win applies) with no time-out.
2. Final and 3rd/4th placing matches will be played in a 1 set of 21 points rally scoring, If score at 20 – 20 (Serve to win applies) with 1 time-out for each team
Rules and Regulations
1. Team captain must submit the line-up form at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the match. No player changes are permitted once the form has been submitted.
2. Player must report at least 5 minutes before the match begins. A walkover will be awarded in case of a no-show.
3. Each player is permitted to participate only once in any given team matchup.
4. Any form of unsportsmanlike behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in disqualification.
5. All registration fees are non-refundable once payment has been made.
6. The organizing committee reserve the right to alter the terms and conditions in any way they think are proper for the successful of the tournament.
7. All decisions from the organizing committee are final.
Waiver of Claims
While every precaution will be taken by the committee, all players, associates, and hosts, by accepting entry into the tournament, agree—on behalf of themselves, their executors, administrators, heirs, and personal representatives—to waive any and all claims of any kind, nature, or description. This includes any past, present, or future claims for loss, injury, or damage that may be sustained while travelling to or from, or participating in, the tournament.
As this is an internal community event intended to honour and appreciate all pickleball communities within Lake View and to foster camaraderie and fraternity among participants, all parties further undertake not to post complaints, negative comments, or criticisms about the event, its participants, or any involved parties on social media or public platforms.
